What this site is, and what it is not
InsureWiseHub is an independently operated website that publishes educational explainers about insurance in the United States. It is a publication, not a business that sells or arranges insurance.

What we do
We publish long-form guides across 18 insurance categories, from auto and homeowners coverage to workers' compensation and cyber liability, plus in-depth articles and two browser-based calculators. Every guide follows the same shape: how the policy actually works, what published data says it costs, what it excludes, and the questions readers most often ask.
Our audience is U.S. consumers and small business owners who are about to make a decision and want the mechanics explained without jargon or a sales pitch attached.
What we are not
We are not an insurance company, an agency, a broker or a licensed producer in any state. We do not sell policies, quote policies, bind coverage, collect premiums, or handle claims. We do not take applications and we do not connect readers to agents. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax or medical advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind.
If you need advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed agent or broker in your state, or contact your state department of insurance, which maintains free consumer assistance services.
How we research and source
We work from primary sources and we name them. Every page that contains a cost figure, a percentage or a market statistic carries a Sources section listing the specific publication it came from, with a link. The sources we rely on most:
- NAIC — the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, for auto and homeowners premium data and for insurer complaint indices.
- CMS — the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, for official Medicare premiums, deductibles and rules.
- KFF and the Peterson-KFF Health System Tracker, for employer and ACA marketplace health coverage costs.
- Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I), for claim frequency and severity data.
- LIMRA, for life insurance ownership research.
- NAPHIA, for pet insurance industry data.
- NCCI and state insurance departments, for workers' compensation loss cost filings.
- Federal agencies — SBA, DOL, FEMA, FMCSA, FTC, IRS, CISA and NIST — for regulatory requirements.
We date every figure and name the year the underlying data covers, because insurance data is published on a lag. Where the most recent authoritative dataset is two or three years old, we say so rather than substituting a fresher but less reliable number.
What we do not publish
We do not publish invented statistics, made-up reader testimonials, or star ratings we generated ourselves. Where we discuss individual insurers, we describe verifiable characteristics — distribution model, published complaint index, financial strength ratings issued by independent rating agencies — and we tell readers where to look those up for themselves. We do not rank insurers, because an honest ranking would require claims data we do not have.
How the site is funded, and how that is kept separate
InsureWiseHub is funded by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertising is served programmatically; advertisers have no input into, and no advance sight of, our editorial content. No insurer pays us for coverage, for placement, or for favourable description, and we do not currently operate affiliate or lead-generation arrangements with insurers. If that changes, this page and our Disclaimer will be updated to disclose it before any such content is published.
Corrections
Insurance rules, premiums and regulations change constantly, and we get things wrong sometimes. If you find an error, email editorial@businessstack.eu with the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. We verify against the primary source, correct factual errors promptly, and update the visible last-updated date on the page.
